Joe Joyce has named two heavyweight combatants he would want to see next.

Joe Joyce is prepared to face Oleksandr Usyk or Tyson Fury.

Joyce will face Zhilei Zhang on September 23 in a rematch of their April battle.

The Briton entered the bout as the favorite and current WBO interim champion, establishing himself as a future mandatory for Usyk.

However, Zhang won that fight and is now defending the belt, with the winner hoping to secure a title bout as a result.

Usyk fought Daniel Dubois two weeks ago, winning on a contentious low blow call in Wroclaw, Poland, while Fury fights Francis Ngannou at the end of next month, although he will not be risking his WBC championship belt.

Both Usyk and Fury are then expected to fight in Saudi Arabia in an undisputed heavyweight duel, but that fight has been sought for but never made for much of the last year, so they may have to look for alternative fights.

“I’d love to fight Fury or Usyk; they’re the two top names, and they hold the belts,” he told BetVictor. They hold the championship. So, I think they’re both tremendous fighters, and I’d be happy to defeat any of them.”
