Another devastating event as VAR misses huge Celtic Moment Against Lazio

Brendan Rodgers, Celtic’s manager, expressed reservations about the officiating during their recent European match, following many disputed decisions that left fans and players perplexed.
Celtic were not clinical enough as they were defeated 2-1 by struggling Italian side Lazio.

“They’re not that great. There’s a lot to see now, and in Europe, it’s even more valuable than the home game. I watched the Champions League games last night and obviously tonight, and to be honest, some bizarre judgments were made. I’ll concentrate more on the performance, which deserved something from the game. We didn’t quite get it, but we’ll try again another day.”

The match’s outcome, combined with the contentious rulings, will undoubtedly be a topic of discussion for fans and commentators in the coming days. Celtic will be aiming for more consistent officiating and clinical performances as the European campaign unfolds.

Celtic’s chances of playing European football after Christmas were severely harmed by the defeat to Lazio, especially with no points after the first two matchdays.
