Borussia Dortmund players send a massive warning to Newcastle United clash

Julian Brandt and Gregor Kobel are looking forward to Borussia Dortmund’s UEFA Champions League match against Newcastle United this week.

Borussia Dortmund will seek to carry their Bundesliga form into the UEFA Champions League when they travel to England to face Newcastle United on Wednesday. The Black and Yellows have won their previous five Bundesliga games, but have only one point after the first two Champions League group stage matchdays.

Borussia Dortmund’s road encounter against Newcastle United is nearly a must-win if they are to stay alive in Group F. Gregor Kobel anticipates a difficult battle against the English Premier League team and believes that they must embrace the fight from the start if they are to achieve a positive outcome on Wednesday.

“We have to take something away from this game.” After two games, we only have one point. We must commit to the fight from the beginning. It will be a difficult game against a physical club that always plays at full speed.”

Julian Brandt anticipates a lively atmosphere at St. James Park on Wednesday and understands that Borussia Dortmund will have to perform admirably if they are to take the crucial three points.

“[I spoke with Pascal Groẞ] who has played against Newcastle in the Premier League several times,” Brandt stated in a statement. “A pleasant atmosphere awaits us there.” It’s not like Manchester City or Chelsea.”

“Despite their excellent performance against PSG, we must go there with confidence.” Everything is possible in this group. We are desperate for a win.”

Borussia Dortmund started their UEFA Champions League group stage campaign with a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain before drawing 0-0 with AC Milan on matchday two. They are now last in Group F, whereas Newcastle United are first with one win and one draw.
