The Super Bowl contenders to lose a key weapon on offense as the 28-year-old to miss around four weeks after suffering a broken arm

Dallas Goedert of the Philadelphia Eagles is expected to be out for four weeks after breaking his arm against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday.

The 28-year-old has been in excellent form recently, with 38 receptions for 410 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

According to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport, Goedert will undergo additional tests on Monday and may undergo surgery the same day in the hopes of returning sooner.

Injuries have plagued the Eagles tight end throughout his NFL career, and he has never played a full season without missing time.

Fortunately for the Eagles, the first of Goedert’s absences is a bye week, but he will be greatly missed for their crucial Week 11 trip to Kansas City.

While Goedert is out, third-year tight end Jack Stoll and former Denver Bronco Albert Okwuegbunam will see increased playing time.

Stoll has only two catches this season, and Okwuegbunam has yet to be targeted since joining the team in the offseason.

It’s unlikely that either will fill the void left by Goedert, so wide receivers will likely see an increase in target share in the coming weeks.
