Injury report as Seattle Seahawks to be without four players and three players in doubt as they face Washington Commanders on Sunday

SEAHAWKS INJURY REPORT FOR NOVEMBER 9TH The Seattle Seahawks released their injury report on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders.

After having seven players listed as DNP on Wednesday, Seattle only had four players sit on Thursday.

Surprisingly, Jordyn Brooks was the only one listed as DNP who was also unavailable on Wednesday. After being limited or a full participant on Wednesday, DK Metcalf (hip), Anthony Bradford (knee), and Mario Edwards Jr. (rest) were all added to the DNP section of the injury report

DEEJAY DALLAS INJURED ON NOVEMBER 5TH DeeJay Dallas of the Seattle Seahawks was injured in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Dallas suffered a shoulder injury and is questionable to return, according to the Seahawks. The team trainers, who were holding his right arm, assisted him to the locker room.

Dallas has five carries for 14 yards and four catches for 11 yards this season. In addition, he has returned 14 punts for 178 yards and nine kickoffs for 231 yards.

DK METCALF TO LOCKER ROOM ON OCT 15 DK Metcalf of the Seattle Seahawks went to the locker room with an apparent injury late in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium.

Metcalf is questionable to return due to a hip injury, according to the Seahawks. In the third quarter, he appeared to injure his hip after collapsing hard to the ground on an attempted catch at the pylon.

He finished the game with two catches for 30 yards.

UPDATE: Metcalf returned to the game after a brief visit to the locker room.

OCT. 9 – THE 49ERS SEND A MESSAGE TO THE SEAHAWKS AND THE REST OF THE NFC – The 49ers have put the Seahawks, the defending conference champion Eagles, and especially the Cowboys on notice: they are the team to beat in the NFC. San Francisco’s 42-10 thrashing of Dallas on Sunday night left no doubt that Seattle’s road to the West passes through northern California.

No team has played better football in the first month of the season than the 49ers, who are 5-0 and haven’t lost a game in the last two seasons started by quarterback Brock Purdy. The Seahawks have won three straight, but there is little room for error if they are to keep up with the 49ers.

The Seahawks don’t face the 49ers until Thanksgiving night in Seattle. They, of course, lost three meetings last season, including 41-23 in a Wild Card playoff game.

SEATTLE SWIFTIE ON OCTOBER 3? MetLife Stadium in New York (well, New Jersey) was the place to be for NFL fans this weekend, as the Chiefs defeated the Jets on Sunday and the Seahawks defeated the Giants, 24-3, on Monday.

What’s the big deal? Taylor Swift, of course, who has become a focal point in the NFL due to her relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The music superstar attended the Sunday game… but she did not attend the Monday game – despite her presence. How?

Because Seahawks assistant coach Carl Smith walked into the building Monday wearing a Taylor Swift “Eras Tour” shirt.

It wasn’t on the level of “Beast Quake.” But it’ll have to suffice.

AUGUST 20, 2023 Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider and coach Pete Carroll currently oversee one of the league’s most talented rosters. …

The building never stops. As a result, neither does our All Seahawks at SI.com coverage of Seattle…

SEAHAWK WAIVES BLOUNT ON AUGUST 29 Joey Blount, a safety, has reportedly been waived by the Seattle Seahawks. He was an undrafted free agent who made Seattle’s 53-man roster last season before suffering a shoulder injury in Saturday’s preseason loss to the Green Bay Packers.

THREE MORE WAIVED ON AUGUST 29THAccording to All Seahawks at SI.com, pass-rusher Levi Bell has been waived ahead of Tuesday’s deadline. The Seahawks could re-sign him to their practice squad.

THE DEADLINE FOR MORE CUTTING IS AUGUST 29. The Seattle Seahawks have made some notable cuts as they near the end of their season. According to reports, Seattle is parting ways with receivers Easop Winston Jr. and Matt Landers, as well as offensive guard Kendall Randolph and nose tackle Matt Gotel.

SEAHAWKS MAKE MORE CUTS ON AUGUST 28 The Seattle Seahawks released cornerback Arquon Bush, tight end Griffin Hebert, receiver Tyjon Lindsey, and offensive tackles Jalen McKenzie and Liam Ryan on Monday.

IS SEAHAWKS RB DEEJAY DALLAS SIGNING HIS RELEASE ON AUGUST 28? According to our calculations, Seahawks running back DeeJay Dallas is a lock to make the team’s final 53-man roster. He adds value to Pete Carroll’s team with his special teams play and production as a third-down specialist.

But Dallas may be reconsidering his position, as he posted some cryptic tweets over the weekend implying his time in Seattle was coming to an end. Dallas tweeted “Can’t wait to see what the future holds” on Saturday afternoon. However, a few hours after Seattle’s preseason loss to the Packers, in which he rushed for 43 yards and caught a pass, he commented on his own post, “Such is life.”

Dallas’ most recent post? A photo of him with SpongeBob SquarePants, complete with a smiling emoji.

SEAHAWKS ANNOUNCE 7 CUT ON AUG 27 The Seattle Seahawks announced the release of seven players on Sunday.

The team has parted ways with tight end Sal Cannella, defensive end Jordan Ferguson, receivers Malik Flowers and Justin Marshall, cornerbacks Benjie Franklin and Chris Steele and running back Wayne Taulapapa.
