Unai Emery now makes a comment about Arsenal after Aston Villa won again as he is excited about the prospect of facing Arsenal at home next month

Unai Emery has admitted that he is looking forward to facing Arsenal at home next month, despite Aston Villa’s incredible winning streak.

Speaking to Birmingham Live, the Spanish coach admitted that he is looking forward to taking on the Premier League’s big guns, as Villa extended their home winning streak to 13 this weekend.

The result took Villa to fifth in the standings, a whole four points off Manchester United in sixth place and firmly into the battle for a UEFA Champions League spot.

However, Villa will be put to the test in the coming weeks when Manchester City and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal visit Villa Park, with both games being back-to-back. Emery, on the other hand, is unfazed.

“We’re playing here at home again against Legia, Manchester City, and Arsenal, and they’re going to be amazing matches and big challenges for everyone,” Villa manager Steve Bruce said.

“We are going to be very excited, but life is passing very fast and it is very important to enjoy each moment.”

Villa’s form has been nothing short of incredible this season, with Emery transforming the Birmingham-based club into one of the most exciting teams in English football.

And the Spanish coach will want nothing more than to beat Arsenal, the club that made Emery a laughingstock during his brief stint in north London.

With Arsenal yet to reach the heights of last season, a win for Villa next month is more than likely, and Emery will be looking for vengeance in the epic clash.
