Leeds United starlet brother of Archie is now reportedly on the radar of Manchester City who have just agreed to sign Finlay Gorman from Thorp Arch.

Manchester City are reportedly interested in Leeds United starlet Harry Gray, brother of Archie, who has just agreed to sign Finlay Gorman from Thorp Arch.

Leeds’ academy talent is on display right now, with Archie Gray shining in the Championship at the age of 17, and there’s more to come in the academy ranks.

Gray comes from a long line of football talent, and he isn’t the only member of his family currently on the books at Elland Road.

Who is Harry Gray?

Archie Gray’s younger brother, Harry Gray, has been playing up front for Leeds’ under-18 side this season despite being only 14 years old when he made his debut.

In that time, he has appeared three times at that level, scoring in all three appearances and impressing a lot, including this viral clip that was mistakenly attributed to Manchester City-bound Finlay Gorman:

What’s the latest?

Man City are interested in Gray after acquiring Gorman from Leeds this week for a seven-figure fee that is a British record for a player of that age.

According to TEAMtalk, the Citizens are interested in a second Thorp Arch swoop to bring Gray to the Etihad after securing Gorman.

Leeds are obviously powerless to prevent this through contract agreements, given that neither player is able to sign professional contracts, and Leeds were unhappy when Gorman left for the treble-winners.

Will Leeds sell Archie Gray in 2024?

Leeds should have a much better chance of convincing Gray to stay, given that his brother is in the first team and has demonstrated the proof of our pathway.

As an attacker, Harry Gray would have little chance of breaking into Man City’s starting lineup, and Gorman may find himself in a similar situation when the chips are down.

Gray, given his surname, would be expected to want to stay at Leeds, a club where his surname simply belongs.
