Leeds United are reportedly set to open contract negotiations with Archie Gray amid rising interest from the likes of Liverpool Man City and other Clubs

Leeds United are reportedly set to begin contract talks with teenager Archie Gray, who has drawn interest from Liverpool.

This season, the midfielder has emerged as a prominent figure at Elland Road, establishing himself as an important member of Daniel Farke’s squad by appearing in 17 matches across all competitions.

Gray has demonstrated his versatility by excelling at both defensive midfield and right back.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool, Everton, and Crystal Palace are all keeping a close eye on the 17-year-old.

However, the report adds that Leeds are willing to go to any length to keep his services as the club seeks promotion back to the Premier League.

Gray signed his first professional contract with the club in March of this year, and his current contract is expected to last until the summer of 2025.

The teenager follows in the footsteps of his father, Andy Gray, who played 38 games over two spells in his career, and uncles Frank and Eddie, who both played under Don Revie in the 1960s and 1970s.

Leeds United will make a short trip to Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United in the Championship after the international break.
