Newcastle United is ready to compete with Manchester United and West Ham United for Jonathan Tah’s services.
Newcastle United, according to The Sun, are interested in signing Jonathan Tah. The Magpies are looking to strengthen their defense during the upcoming winter transfer window, and the 27-year-old Bayer Leverkusen defender is a top target. Tah joined Bayer Leverkusen from Hamburg in 2015 for a fee of around £6.5 million. He has progressed steadily since then, and he is now one of the most important players on their first team.
The 27-year-old has appeared in over 300 matches for Bayer Leverkusen and has assisted on 23 goals. In the current season, he has appeared in 16 games and scored four goals.
Tah’s outstanding performances have not gone unnoticed, and there is considerable interest in his services. While Leverkusen would like to keep him for a few more years, his contract expires in the summer of 2025. With just over 18 months left on his contract, the German club may look to cash in on him if the right offer comes along.
