“Why have an injury report if stuff like this gets completely hidden NFL world blasts Bengals for horrible Joe Burrow move

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow left Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens with a wrist injury that the team had previously not reported, despite Burrow being seen wearing a wrist brace when the team arrived in Baltimore on Wednesday night. And the NFL world is not pleased with the team’s deception. Despite clearly having a throwing hand injury that he aggravated during the game, Joe Burrow was not listed on the Cincinnati Bengals injury report this week. And, as Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio points out, that’s not a good look for the Bengals or the league.

“Meanwhile, the NFL injury reporting system is a farce, as evidenced by the concealment of Burrow’s wrist injury.” “When Congress holds a hearing or a prosecutor convenes a grand jury, the joke will be on the NFL,” Florio of Pro Football Talk wrote in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

And Florio wasn’t the only one frustrated with the move as the Bengals took a lot of criticism on social media as a result.

It’s pretty clear that Burrow was injured prior to this game, and it’s also pretty clear that the Bengals attempted to conceal that injury. We’ll have to wait and see if they face any consequences.
