West Ham are reportedly in advanced talks with two companies over a possible stadium deal

West Ham is said to be in early talks with two corporations over a potential stadium naming rights agreement.

According to a recent report from Football Insider, German banking conglomerate Allianz and US ticketing corporation Stage Front are both keen on being the Hammers’ principal stadium sponsors.

The potential deal, thought to be worth around £20 million, would see the London Stadium renamed nearly eight years after the club moved from Upton Park.

This latest development comes shortly after the club’s talks with telecommunication giants Vodafone collapsed.

And with Allianz, who are the frontrunners to finalize the deal, having been unsuccessful in their negotiations with Chelsea earlier this year to become their front-of-shirt sponsor, it is clear the German company are keen to have their brand associated with the Premier League — the potential deal would certainly help the Hammers as well.

The London club is expected to pay roughly £2.5 million per year in stadium rent to the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), and a contract worth nearly ten times that would go a long way toward offsetting those costs.
