The Seattle Seahawks suffered a couple of key injuries in their loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.

Jordyn Brooks, the team’s starting linebacker, left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury, with the team initially listing him as probable to return in the second half. He was downgraded to doubtful after the X-rays came back and was replaced by Devin Bush for the night. The failed 4th-and-1 run late in the game was rookie running back Zach Charbonnet’s final touch of the night. He left the game with a knee injury and was replaced by DeeJay Dallas for the rest of the game.

Pete Carroll provided updates on both players on Friday, and while the Charbonnet news seems reasonably optimistic, there’s still a big question mark concerning Brooks’ ankle sprain severity.

Kenneth Walker could return in time for the rematch against the San Francisco 49ers, allowing the Seahawks to offset the loss of Charbonnet. If Brooks is forced to miss time, Devin Bush is next in line, followed by Jon Rhattigan and Nick Bellore.
