Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has dismissed suspicions of conflict after the FIA began an investigation into Toto Wolff and his wife.

Christian Horner insists that Red Bull made no complaints against Toto Wolff or his wife Susie. The FIA has launched an investigation into an alleged conflict of interest, but Horner claims his team was uninvolved.

When asked if Red Bull filed a complaint, Horner told Sky Sports News: “Look, we have a big rivalry on track, but we haven’t raised any official complaint to the FIA, either about Susie or Toto or Mercedes.” In fact, Red Bull has been the most involved with Formula One Academy since its inception, to the point where we’ll be entering three cars between the two Red Bull-owned teams.

“So we’ve been working closely with Susie, who’s been doing a great job on Formula One Academy. So I think we like others were quite surprised at the statement that came out last night but it certainly wasn’t instigated or required or set off by Red Bull.

“As I previously stated, we have made no formal complaints or requests to the FIA or FOM.” On the Formula One Academy, we’ve been collaborating closely with Susie.

“We are the only group that will enter three cars in the academy for 2024.” They’re doing fantastic work with the academy, and we’re very excited about it.

“In terms of the other teams, I can’t speak on their behalf.” This is an FIA matter; they have taken this action, but it has nothing to do with Red Bull.”
