Crystal Palace’s interest in Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper as they are following the situation of Cooper closely

Crystal Palace are keen to sign Steve Cooper if he is released by Nottingham Forest.

That is according to The Athletic journalist Daniel Taylor, who has reported what he has been told by sources.
So, what has been reported about Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper? Let us investigate.
Crystal Palace is interested in Steve Cooper, according to The Athletic journalist Daniel Taylor, and could make a move for him if Nottingham Forest fires him.

The Daily Mail recently reported that Palace are keeping a close eye on Cooper’s situation, and Taylor now claims that the Eagles could make a move for him if he becomes available.

“Palace are just the latest club (they interviewed Cooper, by the way, before giving Patrick Vieira the job in the summer of 2021, and it was a close-run thing who got the job),” wrote journalist Daniel Taylor in The Athletic. They have long admired Cooper’s work from a distance.

“So, yes, Palace’s current situation is worth keeping an eye on.” I’ve been told that their interest in Cooper is genuine, and that if he does leave Forest, something could happen that would force Hodgson to leave. The recent reports were completely accurate.”

Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis, in my opinion, should be aware of reports that Crystal Palace is interested in Steve Cooper.

Palace are a large and well-established Premier League club. Although they have been in danger of being relegated to the Championship on several occasions in recent seasons, they are still very much a part of the English top flight.

If Palace believe Steve Cooper is capable of managing them, then the 43-year-old should remain in charge of Forest. Marinakis has already been warned by Gary Lineker.

Marinakis must stick by Cooper. After all, he was the man in charge when the Reds avoided relegation to the Championship at the end of last season.

I understand Forest is having a difficult time right now. After all, the Reds have now lost four consecutive Premier League games. Paul Merson believes they will lose to Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.

But we knew Forest would be fighting for survival in the Premier League this season. It comes as no surprise. Marinakis must continue to believe in Cooper.
