The Huddersfield Town owner will be coming to England for the month of January to address many issues at the club

Despite his side’s current on-pitch struggles, Kevin Nagle insists that Huddersfield Town will become a “sustainable winning club” under his ownership. Town were defeated 3-1 at home by Preston North End on Tuesday night, dropping the Terriers to fourth from bottom in the Championship table, one point above the drop zone.

Since Darren Moore’s appointment in September, the Terriers have only collected 13 points from 14 games, with only two victories. Nagle admits that recent results and performances have been inadequate, and he understands and shares the supporters’ disappointment at the team’s poor form.

The owner plans to visit the UK in early January and stay throughout the transfer window, vowing to ask “tough questions” of everyone involved in order to address the club’s current issues and put things right. “I don’t like to communicate when I’m angry/frustrated, but after taking a deep breath, I can tell you that not only do I hear you as always, but I share your frustration,” Nagle said in a statement to the club’s supporters on X.

“As I see it, supporters need something to rally behind, and to be honest, there isn’t much there right now in terms of results and entertainment on the pitch.” I’m excited to arrive on January 4th, and I’ll be there with boots on the ground for the entire month.

“I’ll be there to grill everyone, from players to management to executives.” And I’ll answer any tough questions that come my way. I will be present throughout the transfer window, as we will be strategic, surgical, and aggressive in our efforts to bring in the talent we require.

“You are the customers; you spend your time and money to escape from the realities of the world for a few hours a week, and you deserve a product that is worth your time and money in return.” To be honest, we are currently failing to keep our end of the bargain.

“I’m not interested in pointing fingers or assigning blame; I’m only interested in identifying and assessing problems and resolving them as quickly as possible.” That doesn’t mean we’ll always agree, but I can assure you that if you spend your time and money on the club, I will do the same.

“We’ll get through this, and we’ll build a winning club you can be proud of.” That’s all there is to it. Thank you as always; this is YOUR club, and I am here to support you. I hope to see many of you in person next month.”
