Fresh injury news emerges as Arteta makes 8 changes as Arsenal are set to take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.

Arsenal will face Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners have had a promising season so far this season, but they will enter this game having lost their last two matches in all competitions.

The North London club was first in the table, but after losing to Aston Villa last weekend, they have dropped to second. Mikel Arteta’s side has 36 points from 16 games and is only one point behind Liverpool. As a result, Arsenal will be desperate to win against the Seagulls tomorrow in order to keep pace with Liverpool.

Arsenal lost their previous league match against Brighton at the Emirates Stadium last season, and they will be eager to avenge that defeat tomorrow.

Arsenal’s expected lineup vs. Brighton
In midweek’s dead rubber Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven, Arteta made some changes to his starting eleven. However, the Spanish manager intends to field his first-team players in tomorrow’s game.

As a result, David Raya will start in goal for the Gunners, and Aaron Ramsdale will return to the bench. William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are likely to keep their positions at the heart of Arsenal’s defense, while Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko could return to the starting eleven and play at fullback.

As a result, Cedric Soares and Jakub Kiwior will be relegated to the bench. Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber are still out due to personal issues.

Declan Rice should play holding midfield, while Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz should play advanced midfield for the North London club. As a result, Jorginho will return to the bench alongside Emile Smith Rowe.

Due to their respective injuries, Thomas Partey and Fabio Vieira are expected to miss this game. Mohamed Elneny suffered a hamstring injury last time out and will most likely be unavailable for this game.

Bukayo Saka is expected to play on the right wing, with Gabriel Martinelli on the opposite side for the hosts. As a result, Leandro Trossard and Reiss Nelson will be among the replacements tomorrow. In that case, Eddie Nketiah will have to make do with a spot on the beach if Gabriel Jesus leads the line for Arsenal against Brighton.
