So, what has Rohl said regarding the Sheffield Wednesday transfer window? Let us have a look…

This will be Rohl’s first opportunity to add to his Wednesday squad since replacing Xisco Munoz in October.

As a result, he’ll want to make sure he gets everything right, and it appears he’ll be busy this month.

Wednesday is expected to sign James Beadle soon. According to rumors, there is also considerable interest in Newcastle midfielder Isaac Hayden.

Rohl has been questioned about his intentions in the transfer market this month, and it may be an exciting few weeks.

“I think we’ll do work in some positions,” he told The Star. On my list are strikers, wingers, midfielders, possibly full-backs, and a goalkeeper! We have a lot of work to do!

“But let’s just wait to see what happens next week, for sure we cannot do everything in the next week. I will try always do everything immediately but it’s always crazy this market.”

It’s safe to say that Wednesday will not go down without a fight this season. The results were quite important over the Christmas period, with wins over Preston and Hull giving the Owls a chance.

The task now is to bring in players who can help improve the chances of survival. The linked players appear to be quite valuable, and hopefully there will be some movement this week.

Wednesday head coach Rohl has emphasized the importance of his players being comfortable in possession since his arrival at the club. As a result, any new signings will have to be comfortable with that strategy.

After two stunning wins over Christmas, the German head coach’s squad has moved to within three points of Championship safety.

The window has officially opened, and Wednesday is in for an interesting month.

Interestingly, Rohl has stated that he would like to complete as much business as possible in January.

It would be fantastic if that were the case. Wednesday will want to avoid a busy transfer deadline day, and Rohl will be hoping for some good news on the incoming this week.
