Leeds United key player faced months on the sidelines as he suffered a significant muscle tear according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

According to Dr. Rajpal Brar, Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk could be out for months if he suffers a serious muscle damage.

According to the injury expert, he is missing with an adductor issue and even required to consult a specialist because he was not progressing throughout his rehabilitation.

However, before of the FA Cup match this weekend, Daniel Farke revealed that the team wants to have him back in time for the next league game.

Brar, a Physical Therapist and Sports Scientist, said exclusively to MOT Leeds News about Struijk:

“He has an adductor injury which is a group of muscles on the inside of the leg.”He will see a specialist because it appears that his injury is not progressing as expected.

“The worst case scenario would be a significant tear in the muscle which would mean months out but he now appears close to a return so it’s certainly not that severe.”

Struijk has missed a number of games for the Whites, with Ethan Ampadu replacing him in the middle of the defense.

Farke has used the former Chelsea player in a defensive midfield role, although he has also played at center-back on multiple occasions in his career.

It remains to be seen whether Struijk will start or be eased back into the first team with a couple of games off the bench whenever he returns.
