Ipswich Town are not making big progress in their pursuit of Blackburn Rovers striker this month according to journalist Alan Nixon.

The 28-year-old striker has been on the outskirts of Blackburn’s squad this season, returning to league action last weekend for the first time since September.

Blackburn may be willing to let Gallagher leave this month, and Ipswich are interested in recruiting him.

Kieran McKenna wants to add a striker to his team in January, and the club is negotiating a deal to recruit Gallagher from Blackburn.

However, it has been alleged that Ipswich have made little progress in their pursuit of the forward.

Negotiations between the two teams are still ongoing, but there has been little progress.

Ipswich are interested in Gallagher, but they are running out of time to sign a striker during the winter transfer window.

It remains to be seen if they will continue to pursue Gallagher or move their attention to other targets in the coming days.
