The star 49ers star explains the difference between the two quarterbacks

The San Francisco 49ers will face the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs.

While the 49ers were expected to return after their success last season, the Packers have been a bit of a surprise. Quarterback Jordan Love has performed admirably in his first season as a starter, and the squad is playing strong football.

But what distinguishes Love from past Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers? According to KNBR, 49ers standout Nick Bosa answered the following question:

Bosa stated that the Packers have “a quarterback who does exactly what he is coached to do.” Aaron Rodgers is a Hall of Famer and a tremendous player, but he stepped outside of the area of coaching, and it’s occasionally good to have a guy that does what he’s told to do.”

The 49ers have zeroed in on Green Bay. Kyle Shanahan, the Packers’ head coach, acknowledged his focus on them during their first-round game, when Green Bay dominated Dallas.

Shanahan explained, “We were already in here [practice facility], so we did it that day. We had blended in a bit earlier in the week to hammer up a few of teams, but we really started focusing on them [the Packers] halfway through the second quarter. Then they scored at the end of the second quarter, so I did both at halftime, and by the third quarter, I was focused on one team.”

The 49ers received some good news on Tuesday: Christian McCaffrey was a full participant in practice after recovering from a minor calf ailment.
