Forest have already rejected loan bids for the 25-year-old Belgian this month and they will now accept £20m for permanent move

Nottingham Forest are looking for a buyer for midfielder Orel Mangala in the last days of the winter transfer window, according to Football Insider sources.

Forest have already turned out loan proposals for the 25-year-old Belgian this month.

The Midlands club is said to be looking for a permanent sale worth £20 million or more, despite Financial Fair Play problems at the City Ground.

Mangala has been linked with European giants Galatasaray, Juventus, and Napoli this month, but no permanent offer has yet been made.

The midfielder joined Forest from Stuttgart in July 2022, but he is already on the chopping block just 18 months later.

He has made 18 Premier League starts and 21 appearances in all competitions this season under Steve Cooper and Nuno Espirito Santo, scoring once.

The midfielder’s contract at Forest runs until June 2026.

The 25-year-old has 12 senior caps for Belgium and has appeared in all ten of the country’s recent games.

Nottingham Forest are reportedly looking to offload on-loan striker Divock Origi this month, citing FFP issues at the City Ground.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s team was charged with violating Profitability and Sustainability guidelines earlier this month, and they risk a possible fine or point deduction.

They are 16th in the Premier League table, with a four-point gap to the bottom three.
