Ipswich Town have now ‘agreed’ a deal to sign attacker also wanted by Leeds United

The Whites have until 11 p.m. tonight to complete any remaining transfer business, but it appears Daniel Farke’s priority will be bringing in reinforcements at the back.

Connor Roberts is about to come on loan from Burnley, and another central defender appears to be on the radar, with Harry Souttar and Joe Worrall on the list of targets.

It remains to be seen whether this gives Leeds enough time to sign a new forward player, but Bournemouth’s Kieffer Moore will not be joining them at Elland Road.

According to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, Ipswich Town have now agreed to recruit him on loan for the remainder of the season, beating out a number of Championship clubs.

Ipswich agree to a deal for Moore.
It was suggested earlier in the day that Ipswich was Moore’s most likely destination, and they appear to have found their man.

Moore is not the only striker connected with joining fellow automatic promotion hopes Ipswich this season; Ali Al-Hamadi has also joined from AFC Wimbledon.

In truth, Leeds’ interest in Moore appears to have stalled, despite the fact that they were aware of his condition at the beginning of last month.

Bournemouth had been undecided about loaning him out, but they have now made their decision, and his arrival will equip Ipswich with a proven marksman at this level.

Fortunately for Leeds, Patrick Bamford has returned to form since the turn of the year, so a new striker hasn’t been desperately needed.
