The 22 year old QB rejected Detroit Lions and he makes his intensions clear as he prefers Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, likes to have fun. There’s lots of it. Allen knows how to have fun, whether he’s playing football or golfing. Josh Allen’s attendance record suggests that he does not enjoy the Pro Bowl. Who can blame him when Pebble Beach awaits?

Most of the Bills Mafia, and possibly many NFL fans, expected Josh Allen and girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld to attend Thursday’s 13th annual NFL Honors awards presentation. The red carpet pre-show event came and went without a glimpse from Allen or Steinfeld. Had Allen snubbed another NFL premiere event?

Yes, he did. Whatever it was may appear inconsequential at best, because… well, it was. Perhaps the best of the kind. The interesting discovery was that, despite having some now widely publicized alternate plans, Allen had no intention of attending the NFL Honors event.

Instead, Allen had made dinner reservations.

But, just two hours before the live Sin City edition of The Dirty Dozen Trivia, Dan “Big Cat” Katz of Barstool Sports fame came out to Allen, asking for a favor. Allen accommodated by rearranging his dinner reservation. Big Cat was suddenly in need of a well-known NFL figure to fill the fourth position on his team.

As Big Cat wrote on Twitter, “I contacted Josh two hours before the show started. He reorganized his dinner to assist a friend in need. A legendary hero move. “Guy through and through.”

What followed was a truly odd night of trivia, with Josh Allen facing off against Greg Olsen. This trivia game was not for the faint of heart (or those who are easily offended by vulgarity). Twelve rounds and many categories. If you missed it, now is your opportunity.

Allen’s full visit with Team Yak is timestamped for your convenience.
