The 25 Year Old Packers Quarterback Talks About His Future At The Team

The Green Bay Packers have a lot to be excited about for the future of their franchise. 2023 was a season when fans and analysts alike began to feel that Jordan Love could be “the guy” for the future of this team. Furthermore, the Packers shown that the young offensive weapons surrounding Love have much to give in this league.

Now, one Packers quarterback is speaking out about the team’s future and his expectations.
What is the anticipation process for someone who is simply waiting for their name to be called?

Clifford: “Oh, it’s on the edge of your seat. It’s a jaw-dropping moment that I’m confident my family and I will remember forever. It was an incredible feeling to hear my name called. “One of the best I have ever had.”

How was your first year in Green Bay?

Clifford said, “It was fun. Lots of fun. I’ve learned a lot. We weren’t a terrific team at the start of the year, and I believe everyone would agree. But we recognized what we had, and we overcome a lot of obstacles.

“We lost four straight at one time, but we recovered and began winning some important games. By the conclusion of the season, we had sneaked into the playoffs and made a run. We had a good chance to beat the 49ers. I know you’ve all seen the results, but they’re an excellent squad. It was a toss-up at the end of the game.

“We’ll return next year with a vengeance. “We’re all prepared to attack 2024.”

Jordan Love threw 23 touchdown passes and three interceptions in his final seven games (including the playoffs), helping the Packers become one of the NFC’s most improved teams. In addition to making the playoffs (the first No. 7 seed to defeat a No. 2 seed), Green Bay was the youngest squad to win a playoff game (average age of 25 years and 214 days).

The Green Bay Packers recorded 302 catches for 3,642 yards and 31 touchdowns from first- or second-year players, the highest total in NFL history. Starting with Jayden Reed, Love has a plethora of young pass catchers to develop alongside.

Additionally, the Packers have Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, Romeo Doubs, Luke Musgrave, and Tucker Kraft. Despite having a banged-up offensive line for the majority of the season, this unit improved its points per possession from 15th to ninth.

New defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley will need to overhaul Green Bay’s defense, but five top-100 draft picks should help. If Love can play as consistently as he did in the final seven games, the Packers have a bright future.
