The 27 year old Buffalo Bills Star collapsed of heart attack

The Buffalo Bills have faced the Kansas City Chiefs in the playoffs three times in the last four years, including a Divisional Round showdown against Patrick Mahomes and company this season.

On all three times, the Chiefs won. At this moment, there’s little doubt that the Chiefs have the upper hand in their rivalry with the Bills.
If you ask Bills quarterback Josh Allen, the two-time Pro Bowl quarterback remains certain that squaring battle against Mahomes and the Chiefs is actually nothing special.

“It’s just another game for me,” Allen told SI’s Patrick Andres. “Whether it’s him over there, whether it’s (Baltimore Ravens quarterback) Lamar Jackson or (Cincinnati Bengals quarterback) Joe Burrow, you name it. … It doesn’t matter who is over there playing. We get so wrapped up in the quarterback vs quarterback debate. I am not playing him. “I’m playing that defense.”

That’s true to some extent, I suppose.

What is evident is that Allen does not place much value in these types of narratives, particularly when it comes to his personal competition with Mahome. As he hinted, he is not going one-on-one in a boxing ring versus the reigning back-to-back Super Bowl MVP.
He is not wrong.

Then again, you can’t help but wonder if this is the problem. You can’t blame Allen for a lack of competitive spirit, but he might need to take these quarterback fights a little more personally, especially against Mahomes.

After all, we probably wouldn’t be condemning him so harshly if he hadn’t lost to Pat in the playoffs three times in the last four years.
