During and during the Eagles season, there were numerous complaints of locker room fractures. Many of the allegations that arose indicated a feud between Brown and quarterback Jalen Hurts.

A.J. Brown appears to be the source of the problem

During his interview on the WIP Morning Show on Friday, NBC Sports’ Peter King emphasized Brown’s role in Philadelphia’s locker room concerns. According to King, the Eagles must handle the conflict between head coach Nick Sirianni, Hurts, and Brown.

“Was there some friction between [Brown] and his quarterback, friction between him and his coach,” King said on WIP 94. That must be resolved without a doubt. You don’t pay a player like A.J. Brown and expect him to be the top receiver on November 1st and then disappear.”
According to King, Brown was dominant early in the season but faded amid the Eagles’ losing streak.

Brown called in 94 WIP on Friday afternoon. According to GH Media, he wants to remain a part of the Eagles. Brown also stated that he did not like to disclose his relationship with Hurts:

“I think that is nonsense. I will not discuss our relationship on air.It wasn’t an issue when I was on a six-game streak. “They only started talking about it after we started losing.” -A. J. Brown

Except Brown does not have a point. After the Eagles’ win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football in September, cameras showed Brown getting into a furious confrontation with Hurts, which Sirianni had to break up.
