The Cleveland Browns Have Reportedly Made A Decision About The 28 year old Running Back

The Cleveland Browns began the summer with a lot of decisions to make.

While they had an incredible run to the playoffs this season, there are many doubts about this squad as it heads into 2024.
They’ll have to figure out what to do at quarterback, specifically with Deshaun Watson.

Many fans are concerned that the organization will want to move on from Nick Chubb, given his previous injury history.

However, according to Mary Kay Cabot’s recent report, the Browns have no plans to cut Nick Chubb in 2024.

One of the most important implications from Cabot’s article is that the Browns have no idea when Chubb will be back on the field.

Chubb is a free agent following the 2024 season, but Cabot suggests that a restructure is in the works.

There is a risk he will not be available to begin the season, limiting his impact on the squad.

With that in mind, he may be willing and interested in accepting a team-friendly contract, allowing the Browns to add more players around him on both sides of the ball.

Kareem Hunt is a free agent, and depending on what the team plans to do with him, they may need another running back.

Jerome Ford was a good option last year, but unless he makes a significant improvement, he is unlikely to have a Chubb-like effect on this roster going forward.
