The lawsuit was filed in Broward County last week by Sophie Hall, an influencer and model with more than 2.1 million followers on Instagram.
Tyreek Hill is facing a new lawsuit after a social media influencer alleges the Miami Dolphins wide receiver deliberately shattered her leg at his residence last year.
Sophie Hall, a model and influencer with over 2.1 million Instagram followers, filed the case last week in Broward County.
According to the lawsuit, Hall knocked Hill backwards during a football session, and he “became enraged, and forcefully and purposefully shoved Ms. Hall, severely fracturing her leg, requiring surgery with orthopedic reconstruction and hardware implantation.”
The incident occurred when Hall acquired tickets for her kid to attend the “Tyreek Hill Football Camp” at Boca Raton High School in June 2023.
Following the purchase, Hill messaged Hall on Instagram, saying he wanted to “meet up and get to know her,” according to the lawsuit.
Hill then flirted with her in texts, telling her he had been known to be a “good stepdad,” and before the camp, Hill invited Hall to “come a day early so me and mom can hang” and offered her his phone number, according to the lawsuit.
Hill invited Hall back to his property in Southwest Ranches following the camp, and he later purchased a trip and travel arrangements for her to visit, according to the lawsuit.
Hill was training with his trainer at home when he invited Hall to partake in offensive line drills with him, according to the lawsuit.
According to the claim, Hall followed his instructions and made contact with Hill, pushing him backwards and eliciting laughs from Hill’s mother, sister, friend, and trainer.
Hill’s mood shifted and he became upset, and during another play, he “charged into her violently and with great force, resulting in significant and serious injuries,” according to the lawsuit.
According to the lawsuit, Hall was unable to get up or walk about, and Hill “downplayed” her injury by advising her to rest and ice her leg.
Hill permitted Hall to stay at his house for a few days while he arranged for her return home.
When Hall went to the doctor after returning home, she was diagnosed with a right leg fracture that required surgery with metal implants, according to the lawsuit.
NBC6 reached out to Hill’s attorney, who declined to comment on the case.
Hill, 29, was traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Dolphins in 2022 and agreed to a four-year contract deal worth an estimated $120 million.
The renowned wide receiver’s home in Southwest Ranches caught fire in January after officials discovered a toddler playing with a lighter.
