Brighton could be missing six players for Nottingham Forest clash amid injury nightmare

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi will be missing Joao Pedro for their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest.

The two teams will clash on the south coast on Sunday (2pm), with Forest looking to rebound from a late loss to Liverpool last time out. Nuno Espirito Santo’s Reds are only four points away from relegation after two consecutive defeats.

Brighton, on the other hand, is winless in their previous two league games after drawing and losing to Everton and Fulham, respectively. They also suffered a 4-0 setback to AS Roma in the Europa League on Thursday.

Pedro, the Seagulls’ in-form forward, will miss the encounter due to a hamstring injury. “He has a problem.” We don’t know how many weeks, but we don’t want to take any chances,” De Zerbi said.

In addition, Billy Gilmour will serve the final game of a three-game suspension, while Jack Hinshelwood and James Milner are doubtful. Hinshelwood has missed the last four games due to an ankle injury, while Milner has missed Brighton’s last five matches.

Long-term absentees Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March are not anticipated to return this season.

Nuno could welcome back certain Forest players from injury, notably Nicolas Dominguez, who was forced off against Liverpool last weekend. Willy Boly and Chris Wood have returned to training, and Ola Aina was also observed this week.
