New York Jets Re-Sign Safety To One-Year Deal Marking His Return From ACL Injury

The New York Jets have re-signed safety Chuck Clark for a one-year contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Baltimore Ravens selected Clark in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, with choice No. 186.

The athletic safety played for the Ravens from 2017 to 2022 before being moved to the New York Jets; however, he tore his ACL. The injury occurred during one of the team’s practice sessions, and he was ruled out for the season as a result.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the “Jets are brining back safety Chuck Clark — who missed the 2023 season after suffering a torn ACL during OTAs — on a one-year deal, per source.”

He spent six seasons with the Ravens, making 63 starts. He also has five forced fumbles, five interceptions, and 32 pass breakups, according to Yahoo Sports. The Jets also have Tony Adams in their lineup.
