According to a new rumor, if the New York Yankees want to sign Jordan Montgomery before Opening Day 2024, they will face stiff competition from longtime rivals the Houston Astros.
With the start of the 2024 MLB season approaching, many of the elite players who were unexpectedly left in free agency earlier this month have finally signed. The National League Cy Young Blake Snell signed with the San Francisco Giants, while the New York Mets finally loosened their purse strings on Thursday, adding All-Star slugger JD Martinez.
