Sheffield Wednesday are believed to have made a decision with regards to the future of midfielder

Glover, who will turn 21 in a few months, has been a regular for the U21s in S6 for some time and earned his senior debut under Darren Moore last season after progressing through the Middlewood Road development systems.

The midfielder signed a new agreement after the 2022/23 season ended, but The Star knows that the club will not exercise the one-year option on his contract as he seeks the next step in his career abroad.
Glover has spent time on loan with Spennymoor Town, Gainsborough Trinity, and Belper Town, so he has some experience in the lower leagues of English football, and he could be a wise signing for someone in the National League or National League North when he becomes a free agent at the end of June.

Glover joined Wednesday at the age of 14 and has demonstrated his versatility by playing as a center midfielder and right wingback in recent years, and he will be eager to find a new club as quickly as possible so he can settle in ahead of the 2024/25 season.

Wednesday are likely to make announcements about the futures of more academy players soon, with plans already in place for a summer of rebuilding at both the senior and junior levels surrounding Hillsborough.
