Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe signs divorce with wife due to…

Newcastle United was seen cooperating with new commercial sponsor Saudia as they took to the streets to showcase their partnership with Formula E.

On Wednesday, social media users discovered footage of a production crew and a Formula E car. The car was shown at a variety of locations throughout Newcastle’s city centre, including Monument, Central Arcade, the Quayside, and St James Park.

Along with the Formula E car, the racing drivers wore black and white race outfits with the Newcastle United club emblem.

The car featured the emblems of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, which owns the majority ownership in the club, and Saudia, Newcastle’s airline partner.

Formula E hosts an annual ePrix in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Which major figures in Newcastle, such as Merhdad Ghoddousi and Yasir Al-Rummayan, attend.

Earlier this year, the PIF declared that it would increase its involvement in Formula E as part of a new ‘Electric 360’ project to promote the growth of electric motorsport.

Formula E is currently in a strong position as a result of the announcement, and the sport’s expansion appears to be imminent.

This begs the question: will there be a Newcastle ePrix soon?

Currently, the answer is no. However, the filming on Wednesday could be the beginning of more things for the city, owing to other sponsorships.

Newcastle established a multiyear agreement with Saudia in October of last year.
