NBA News: Chicago Bulls legend cut off his sons out of his will – here’s why…

It could be time for the Chicago Bulls to face the music and consider a rebuild. Following Friday night’s 112-91 loss to the Miami Heat, the Bulls’ season has ended in the play-in tournament for the second straight season. It has become clear that this team’s ceiling is a first-round departure, which they achieved in 2022, and despite their injury difficulties, they have failed to return to the playoffs since.

However, rather than blowing it all up by dealing Zach LaVine, Nikola Vucevic, and Coby White, as well as allowing DeMar DeRozan to leave in free agency, the Bulls appear to have big plans for improving the roster.

According to ESPN’s Jamal Collier, the Bulls will be “monitoring” great players that they could trade for or sign in free agency. Trae Young, Paul George, and Donovan Mitchell have all been listed as potential targets for Chicago.

Nonetheless, the Bulls are simply keeping their options open. DeMar DeRozan has already put pressure on the front management, stating that he would like to stay in Chicago but also wants to contend for a title. Collier also stated that, despite ongoing trade talks involving Zach LaVine during the 2023-24 season, there is a chance he will begin next season in Chicago.
