Miami Heat players under fire for hitting club after loss to Boston Celtics:

Numerous Miami Heat players, including Jaime Jaquez Jr., Tyler Herro, and Nikola Jovic, have come under fire after being sighted visiting a Boston nightclub following the team’s first-round playoff loss to the Boston Celtics in Game 1.

While many took issue with the development, not everyone did.

The Heat lost by 20 points to the Celtics in Game 1 on Sunday, missing Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier. Miami felt the absence of Butler and Rozier on offense, as the club scored only 94 points against Boston. Bam Adebayo was the Heat’s only player to finish with 20 or more points.

Adebayo finished with 24 points, six rebounds, and three assists, shooting 10-of-18 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line.

Miami also struggled to make stops against a Boston club loaded with talented offensive players and three-point shooters. The Celtics made 22 3-pointers on 49 attempts, and all eight players who appeared in the game hit at least one.

Kristaps Porzingis, Derrick White, and Sam Hauser all made four deep shots, tying for the team lead.

Game 2 of the Heat-Celtics series, a rematch of the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals, will take place Wednesday night at TD Garden.

The Heat will try to tie the series at one game apiece before the series returns to Miami for Games 3 and 4, and in order to win against a Celtics team that has been dominant at home all season, Tyler Herro will most likely need to improve on his performance in the first game of the series.

Jrue Holiday, a Celtics guard, gets credit for making Herro’s life difficult on offense. The Heat guard finished with only 11 points on 13 shots from the floor. Remember, Herro finished the 2023-24 regular season tied with Butler for the highest scoring average on the squad, averaging 20.8 points per game in his fifth season with the Heat.
