Luka Doncic has honest 1-word response to question about his career

The Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has been dealing with discomfort during the early stages of the postseason, and he is not attempting to disguise it.

Game 3 of the Mavericks’ Western Conference semifinals playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder took place on Saturday, with Doncic playing a key role in the team’s 105-101 victory. The 25-year-old’s knee strain and sore ankle made him questionable for the match.

Doncic scored 22 points in the end on 7 of 17 shots, which is not very good for him. Nevertheless, he was able to grab 15 rebounds. While battling Thunder player Luguentz Dort for a loose ball late in the fourth quarter, Doncic fell flat on his back.

Given his current state of injury, it was reasonable to ask how Doncic was feeling following the accident. After the game, Doncic was spotted cautiously making his way to the locker room. When a reporter asked him what was bothering him, he responded very candidly.

“Everything,” stated Doncic. “I am simply fighting in the field.”

After falling to the Thunder in Game 1, the Mavericks turned things around and now lead the series 2-1. Doncic was obviously in pain, but the crowd had little sympathy for him.

It seems unlikely that Doncic’s fall in Game 3 will improve his general health, but it would be shocking if he took a night off. On Monday night, Dallas will play host to the Thunder in Game 4.

But when ask about his career he said, i love it here the fans love me and am just not happy for my injury situation but I believe I will do more and I will give all.

I love it here and the fans and the love is my major reason not to leave the team.
