Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh opens up about his future with the team

WR DeAngelo Hardy, an undrafted free agent rookie that the Baltimore Ravens signed a few weeks ago, was waived on Thursday, May 16, marking a roster move.

“Per today’s personnel notice, Ravens waived UDFA WR DeAngelo Hardy, who played college football at North Central College,” wrote Jeff Zrebiec of the Athletics on May 16.

As soon as the 2024 draft was over, on Saturday, April 27, Baltimore signed the rookie. “Congratulations to our guy DeAngelo Hardy on signing with the Baltimore Ravens!” was the post made on X by the UDFA’s agent, Exclusive Sports Group. #Exclusive

After spending just three weeks with the Ravens, the NCC product will now try to see if he can sign with another team in the upcoming months or return later in the summer.

Zrebiec added, “That leaves an empty roster spot,” to his post. Ten wide receivers are still on Baltimore’s roster. To go along with the explosive Zay Flowers, the Ravens wide receiver position is in need of an infusion of talent (more on this below).

Although it is usual for undrafted rookies to struggle throughout the summer, Hardy appeared to have a chance because of the team’s necessities.
