My Lack of patience ‘has gotten me in trouble’ says Tom Thibodeau as he addresses future with the New York Knicks

The New York Knicks’ head coach, Tom Thibodeau, gave a press conference speech following the team’s elimination against the Indiana Pacers.

A fantastic chance for the New York Knicks to go to the Eastern Conference finals was lost. They lost against the Indiana Pacers 109:130 at home, a convincing loss. But following the game, head coach Tom Thibodeau underlined that after a season like this, there’s nothing to be upset about.

“I can accept the outcome because I know that this team gave it its all throughout the season. There will only be one happy team in the end, which is disappointing. There will be 29 teams that fail. There is no regret for the fierce battles this team put up.

The New York Knicks now head for an offseason where the front office will face a number of big decisions. The first of which very well may be the future of head coach Tom Thibodeau, who has one year remaining on his five-year contract. Knicks is expected to engage him in extension talks in the offseason.

“That’s something that my agent will take care of. The Knicks have been great to me. This is where I wanna be“, Thibodeau said.
