Red Bull in shock TERMINATION of driver contract as struggles continue

Because of his persistently bad performances, Red Bull terminated the contract of one of their drivers prematurely after only a few race weekends.

It happens at a time when the Austrian organization is under turmoil due to the departure of Adrian Newey, the issue surrounding Christian Horner, and circulating rumors about Max Verstappen’s future.
Sergio Perez’s new contract seems to be an attempt to stabilize the team, although it has been impeded by the Mexican’s two DNFs and straight Q1 exits in the last two races.

After a challenging start to one of their young prospects’ Formula 3 season, Red Bull has now chosen to make changes to their junior driver program.

With Red Bull, whose contract has ended?
Red Bull has a history of making sudden lineup adjustments. In Formula One, Verstappen was tested alongside Pierre Gasly and Alex Albon before Perez was chosen.

Due to their inability to fully utilize the vehicle, Gasly was dropped to the junior squad, which is now known as Visa Cash App RB, while Albon was relegated to reserve driver.

It is now certain that F3 MP Motorsport racer Kacper Sztuka, a junior driver, will not be given the opportunity to showcase his abilities with the team in Formula One.

After four F3 race weekends in 2024, he disclosed on social media that he had lost his spot on Red Bull’s junior program, which he had only entered in November 2023 after winning an Italian Formula 4 championship.

The Pole is now ranked 19th in the rankings and has only finished with one point during the competition.

Sztuka wrote: “I wanted to share with you information about my development and further performances in Formula 3 this season” when he announced the breakup on X.

“The partner decided to cancel the relationship with Red Bull’s junior program in recent weeks.

“I would want to express my gratitude to all those who have contributed to the project in which I have been working since November 2023. The evaluation of the MP Motorsport team and our initial preparations are unaffected by the aforementioned decision.

“In the 2024 season, thanks to the support of my sponsors, I intend to compete in all remaining rounds of the FIA Formula 3 Championship and continue to develop as a driver both on and off the track.”

This weekend in Barcelona marks the halfway point of the F3 season, and the eighteen-year-old will stay with MP Motorsport.
