Bristol Rovers manager Matt Taylor agree to part ways with the Rovers as he sign three years contract with the French club…..

The Premier League awarded Bristol Rovers a £750,000 grant to aid with the construction of the new South Stand at the Mem, which has been open to the public since December.

With a wider mandate, the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF), formerly the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), provides capital grants to clubs at the bottom of the pyramid to assist in the construction of stadium facilities.

In order to assist in funding the building of the new 3,414-capacity stand behind the goal to the left of the dugouts, Rovers also obtained a loan from Nationwide Finance Limited, which was secured against the Mem. The club used to have a smaller stand inside of a tent, but this new building has a strong steel roof that makes it possible to add more accessible seats.

If they additionally fulfill league-specific standards, clubs in the EFL, the National League system (steps one through six), the women’s football pyramid (tiers one through four), and other grassroots leagues are all eligible to apply for a grant.
