Breaking News: A.J. Minter issues a shocking message with completes…..

Georgia’s GWINNETT A.J. Minter, a reliever for the Atlanta Braves who attended The Brook Hill School, pitched one inning on Tuesday night for the Braves’ Triple A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers, as part of his ongoing recovery after a period on the disabled list due to a hip impingement.

At Gwinnett’s Coolray Field, Minter threw the seventh inning in the Stripers’ 5-1 victory over Memphis.

He surrendered no hits but one earned run. Minter did not record a strikeout while walking one Redbird.

On Saturday, Minter had his first rehab appearance with Double A Rome (Georgia). He struck three and gave up one unearned run in one inning of work.

If Braves management were pleased with Minter’s performance on Tuesday, they could allow him to return to the field later this week, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
