Fans left shocked after Caitlin Clark makes stunning admission about her Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides

Caitlin Clark has left supporters in a state of disbelief after revealing the experience of playing under Christie Sides, the coach of the Indiana Fever.

Clark, the No. 1 pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, is currently experiencing a rapid-fire rookie season with the Fever. She has already shattered numerous records during her remarkable collegiate career at Iowa.

The 22-year-old has been the subject of extensive controversy off the court, but she is already justifying the hype on the court by leading the way for freshmen in terms of points per game with 16.2.

It appears that she is acquiring her stripes in the major leagues without much guidance on the court, which is remarkable.

Following Indiana’s 89-77 defeat to the Seattle Storm on Friday night, Clark was asked about the greatest piece of in-game advice she has received from a veteran teammate so far this season.
Yet her astonishing response has opened Sides up for fierce criticism on social media.

‘Nobody offers me advice in game. I hope,’ she admitted.

Despite the initial question being about Clark’s teammates, fans immediately took to X to call out Sides and question her influence as a coach.

One wrote: ‘@fever Remind me again…Why is @ChristieSides the Head Coach again?’

‘Sides needs to go,’ another user commented.

A third posted: ‘oh christie sides tally your days’.
A fourth put: ‘the COACH could do that…’

While one merely said: ‘Goodbye “Coach” Sides’.

During last Sunday’s defeat to the Chicago Sky, a clip of Clark appearing to dispute with Sides on the court surfaced on social media.
