The Kansas City Chiefs enter their bye week unbeaten. After defeating the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, the Chiefs are 5-0 for the first time since 2018. Harrison Butker, who became the NFL’s highest-paid kicker after the Chiefs signed him to a four-year, $26.5 million contract in August, remains dependable. He’s made 12-of-14 field goals and 10-of-11 extra points this season.
When the Chiefs return in Week 7, they will face the San Francisco 49ers in a Super Bowl rematch at Levi’s Stadium on October 20. During his bye, Butker campaigned alongside conservative Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley, who is running for re-election. While Butker’s presidential endorsement for Donald Trump during an interview on Fox News grabbed headlines, the 29-year-old’s news about his wife, Isabelle Butker, almost slipped by.
